CERTIFICATE OF PROTEST
Be it known, that on the 12th day of December, in the year of 2004, at the request of
Beijing Evergreen Properties Co., Ltd., in the City of Beijing Municipality, of the
People’s Republic of China, I, Deguang Zhang, an attorney duly licensed to practice
law in the People’s Republic of China, presented the annexed check issued by
Providence Group of America in the amount of USD $ 4,301,709 (Four Million Three
Hundred Thousand Seventeen Hundred and Nine U.S. Dollars) at the First China Bank
of Merchants, and demanded payment thereof which was refused for insufficient
fund.
Whereupon, I, said attorney at the request aforesaid, did protest, and by these
presents do solemnly protest against the maker, endorser and all parties whom it
may concern, for exchange, re-exchange, and all costs, damages, and interest already
incurred, or hereafter incurred, by reason of the nonpayment thereof.
And I do hereby certify that on the same day and year above written, I deposited,
self-addressed envelope enclosed, at the International Post Office in Beijing, notice of
this protest, signed by me, addressed to the makers and endorsers thereof, directed
to the parties to be charged as follows:
