Re: Advice of Credit
Gentlemen:
Please check the terms and conditions of this credit immediately and note that we
are unable to make any changes without the issuing bank’s authority. Accordingly,
should any of its terms or conditions be unacceptable please contact the opener
directly with a view to obtaining a suitable amendment without delay to be advised
to us.
You are not entitled to rely on any communications or any discussions at any time
with us, the issuing bank, or the opener as in any way amending this credit, save to
the extent that the credit has been amended in writing and signed on our behalf.
Documentary evidence will be required in respect of any conditions of this credit that
are not specifically covered by the documents called for herein. Your attention is
also drawn to Article 3 and 4 of UCP 400.
