The Decision of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on Amending the "Construction Law of the People's Republic of China", adopted at the 20th Session of the Standing Committee of the 11th National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China on April 22, 2011, is hereby promulgated and shall become effective as of July 1, 2011.

At its 20th Session, the Standing Committee of the 11th National People's Congress decided to amend the Construction Law of the People's Republic of China as follows:
第十一届全国人民代表大会常务委员会第二十次会议决定对《中华人民共和国建筑法》作如下修改：
Article 48 shall be amended to read: "construction enterprises shall pay the work-related injury premium in connection with the work-related injury insurance for the workers in accordance with the law. Enterprises are encouraged to purchase accidental injury insurance for workers who are engaged in dangerous tasks and pay the premium."
将第四十八条修改为:“建筑施工企业应当依法为职工参加工伤保险缴纳工伤保险费。鼓励企业为从事危险作业的职工办理意外伤害保险,支付保险费。”
This Decision shall take effect as of July 1, 2011.
本决定自2011年7月1日起施行。
The Construction Law of the People's Republic of China shall be re-promulgated after the amendments are made according to this Decision.
《中华人民共和国建筑法》根据本决定作相应修改,重新公布。
